The 'See You In 10 Years' Time Capsule was commissioned by the Scottish Book Trust as part of Book Week Scotland in November 2020. It contains new writing by the Scottish crime writer Val McDermid and a selection of  young Scottish writers which will not be revealed until its reopening in 2030 in the National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh, where it is currently being held.
